Making art is a “quiet intervention”.
In my current practice I draw and paint which is evolving into woven tapestry.
My themes revolve around the consequences of human meddling and destruction. In the past I have explored the subject of war through the metamorphosis of a tiger moth, colonialism through tea bags and sugar, and the absence of women in art history.
Now we are experiencing rapid destruction of the planet and climate change. I am immersed in that dilemma as one small human being amongst many of us.
